About Paul (cont)

Paul Dodorico Racing
Kauneonga Speedway/Catskill Mountain Speedway/White Lake Raceway, under several different owners. Paul won three consecutive Legends championships at the track, which was Kauneonga when he won the championship in 2004, Catskill Mountain in 2005, and White Lake in 2006. In 2008, Dodorico got the chance to bring his Legends car "home" to race at Riverhead Raceway. In 2008 and 2009, Paul competed full-time in the Legends division at Riverhead Raceway, while also making several trips back to the track where he scored his three championships, now known as Bethel Motor Speedway. With five top ten finishes in six races during the 2008 season, Paul finished ninth in Riverhead points in spite of missing two events. He was the winner of the inaugural race when Bethel Motor Speedway reopened under new ownership in August of 2008. In 2009, Paul finished fourth in points at Riverhead, with five top ten finishes in eight starts. Paul was the winner of the first segment of “Bethel Motor Madness” weekend held in October.

After a difficult decision, Paul stepped away from piloting his Legends cars during the 2010 season, and focused on other aspects of the racing hobby. When the 2011 season began, Paul was made an offer he couldn't refuse, and accepted the challenge of driving a former Legends championship car owned by Strumf Racing. Paul finished the 2011 season 7th in points, with six top 10's , three top 5's and on the last race of the season, his first career win at Riverhead Raceway!

In 2012, Paul once again be wheeled his own #55 Legends Car, and raced a limited schedule at Riverhead Raceway, as well as travel racing at Bethel Motor Speedway as time allowed. His primary goal for the season was to have fun.
